MediaFire, Fast.io, and what I’m building now.
I’m Tom Langridge. I co-founded MediaFire and Fast.io, and I’m now building PromptEden alongside smaller experiments like RidgeHQ.
I’m interested in where AI genuinely helps a small team research, build, and ship—and where it still gets in the way.
Charting Alpha is where I’ll share those tests: what works, what fails, what seems promising, and what I change next.
What I’m trying to do
I want to help founders and creators find practical ways to use AI.
I hope Charting Alpha becomes a place where people compare notes on what they tried, what worked, and what they would do differently.
Share the details

Judge the result
I care whether AI improves the work, not whether a product can claim to use it.
Keep experimenting
Cheaper experiments mean more chances to try odd ideas and see what happens.
